Abstract:
The Information and Communication Technologies present new scenarios that require a revision of the classic teaching model, since both the methodologies, the way of accessing and acquiring the knowledge and the resources used, are affected by this technology. Traditional teaching where classroom space is a classroom with a blackboard is present in most schools. However, more and more teachers will meet with students who belong to a new generation, a digital generation, In which information and learning is no longer confined to the physical classroom, nor is it offered by the teacher in an exclusive way, which implies changing the educational model by designing suitable learning environments. Students today have grown immersed in technology, where computers, tablets and cell phones, etc., are ways they interact with their world, so they need study material that fits the way they learn.

Within this context the didactic material that was developed of the subject of graphs, according to these ideas are the digital textbooks integrated in suitable virtual environments. Since a digital book is a publication whose support is an electronic file that can be stored in different digital media and allows the incorporation of interactive and multimedia elements.

The goal of this material is that students will no longer be limited to static images that illustrate traditional texts, but can now immerse themselves in an image with interactive subtitles, rotate a 3D object or make an answer come alive in the review of a chapter. You can flip through a book with a single finger on the screen. They can also highlight text, take notes, search for content and find definitions in a glossary very easily. In addition, they can take them wherever they go, which will allow students not only to learn between the walls of the classroom, but also in the virtual space that make up these books.

Statistical graphs serve to represent and store data in a compact way, facilitate the communication of information and analyze the data set. The main idea is that the students know how to represent the information of a set of data graphically.

The digital textbook of presentation of the information developed contemplates that each chapter indicates prerequisites, learning objectives, written development of the subject, videos with explanation, interactive exercises and self-correcting questions.
