Abstract:
This study aims to know the most frequent dishonest behaviours and the factors that influence them. The participants were 654 students from the University of Zaragoza who answered a questionnaire about the frequency of conduct of dishonest behaviour, the factors that influence the performance of these and a test of Neutralization Attitudes (serves to justify conducting behaviours that they know are wrong). Older students (r=, 102) and those with lower averages (r= -, 109) perform more dishonest behaviours. The greater the severity of the conduct the less performance (r= -, 382) and they report their comrades implement them more often. Neutralization attitudes and dishonest behaviours correlate positively (r=, 471). The most performed dishonest behaviours are to get exams illicitly, to copy from others and project plagiarism. The factors that influence the performance are wanting to get good marks, a strong punishment and interesting projects. So that it is proposed to change the questions and its order every year, besides teaching how to quote and reference, and trace learning; it is also posed that punishments be proportional to the severity of the conduct.
