In the past enhancing the ability of finding information was a very important competence to enhance in our students. Nowadays due to the extended used of the Internet, the issue is not the lack of information but the ability of select a valid source and to use each own critical capacity to elaborate your own opinion.

The critical capacity is also important in order to be able to evaluate the performance of our future partners, providers and clients. Being able to identify their strengths and weaknesses could improve our negotiation skills and our team working ability.
Besides the self critical capacity is also important in order to motivate our students to improve their performance. The ability of self evaluating its own work provides the students with one of the most important tools to improve.

Due to the importance of this capacity, in this paper we present an analysis of how the enhancing of this capacity can be integrated in the curriculum of different subjects of higher education subject. In order to test our proposal we have design a set of activities that has been applied in three different subjects of different degrees. Despite of the initial resistances of the studies of working this competence, the results obtained show an increase of their self quality critical capacity. The results also show an improvement in their communication and negotiation skills.

This paper also analyzes the students perspective of the effectiveness of this set of activities. The evaluation was positive. From their perspective, the most meaningful effect was to improve their ability of reasoning with objectivity and facts.
