Abstract:
This work aims to create a social network in the environment of University of Huelva through a multidisciplinary faculty. It takes as its starting point the knowledge society where information technology and communications give rise to multiple forms of communication and learning. Higher Education, as spaces of knowledge management facilitates the development of innovative methodologies, to make teaching as the key tool for the transmission of knowledge. We start with the definition of social networks, its history and application in the field of education. Intend to use of available telematic resources at the University of Huelva and with them create a web 2.0 space in which the students together with teachers to be able create social networks tailored to a particular topic and directed at specific groups, which allows the specialization of the members themselves without external interference from other social networks.
