Abstract:
E-learning is the most modern way of teaching on any digital device. It is the implementation of information technology into the development, distribution and management of education or teaching. With rapid technological progress and advances in teaching systems, the masses are enjoying it today.

The advantages of e-learning include greater efficiency of education and more significant opportunity to test its knowledge. E-learning users can learn at any time via the Internet, both at home and at work. A unique approach to the user includes that the subscriber is active.

The disadvantages are the need to access the Internet and hardware. The financial complexity of providing the Internet is relatively high. Overwhelming the student with a large amount of information and his constant overloading is another con. A significant problem is the health problems that result from sitting at a computer and cheating.

The paper aims to identify the systems used for the management and operation of e-learning based on the definition of theoretical background and analysis of the use of e-learning systems in the world. The methods used in the paper processing were analysis, synthesis, generalization, induction and deduction. Mathematical and statistical methods were also used. The results are graphically visualized and are also described in text form.

The result is a list of the most used e-learning systems, including Canvas, Blackboard Learn, ANGEL, D2L Brightspace, Moodle, Sakai, Pearson LearningStudio, Homegrown, Schoology and WebCT. There were differences in using these e-learning systems in North America, Europe, Canada and Australia.
