Abstract:
Organization of work is a discipline of particular importance for the education of Building Engineers since it is an essential competency of those responsible for execution of work as well as a professional attribution given by the Spanish legislation for these engineering graduates.

The new educational challenges of the European Higher Education Area make it necessary to set up a training strategy in order to meet these requirements using new working methodologies and teaching resources appropriated to this aim.

The work being proposed to develop as a paper provides a new working method for the formation of the new Building Engineers graduates. This method has to be consistent with the European Higher Education Area principles and the obligations that the current Laws in Building and the Technical Code of Building give to these engineers in the field of organization of work.
