Abstract:
Online education is an indelible part of modern life. For many people, online education is a new reality where we learn and educate ourselves. The digital world has transformative power to connect student across the world online. There is an urgent need to coordinate global efforts for digital skills education and training, which can help students succeed in the digital age. By 2025, most of the devices and things around us, possibly even our clothing, also will be connected with the cyberspace.
The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the online education of numerous universities that were unprepared. The digital world has brought tremendous benefits, but the rate of artificial intelligence advances is far greater than the speed at which we have adapted in terms of education, policies, and culture. The model ‘Digital Interactive Culture Education’ (DICE) is a methodological approach to develop global standards to regulate and develop global networks for personalized education systems. Digital skills education programs on cultural policy and management are very important to students in cultural management and administration courses. The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Learning Framework 2030 cites digital literacy as a core fundamental competency for future education.
This paper examines a global networks partners that committed to develop digital skills education and training program by using artificial intelligence tools to develop online platforms. It outlines the role of developing a program certification system to evaluate digital skills in cultural management and administration courses by providing information about the type of competencies are taught in different programs to guide curriculum planning. It analyses the role of info-com credits system that students can earn when they complete learning objectives within certified digital skills on cultural management and administration. Finally, it introduces an online assessment platform where individuals and organizations can measure digital skills on cultural management and administration across competencies based on the info-com credits system. The results can provide guidance for developing globally accepted performance standards to evaluate digital skills on cultural management and administration and training outcomes as well as to measure the impact of specific initiative in cultural organization.
