Abstract:
Info-communication knowledge, artificial intelligence and digital education are the next impending revolution will be about given students and academics new knowledge opportunities in a digitized education ecosystem. Considering the increasing processing power and memory capacity of multifunctional info-com devices i.e. info-com PC, smart phones, tablets and artificial intelligence mechanisms, together with innovative new models of developing, managing and promoting courses on cultural policy, digital communication and management, empower students and academics to use data to create a far smarter educational mechanisms to create info-communication knowledge both locally and globally. According to Gartner more than 5 million connected devices a day came online in 2016. It forecasts that their total number will be more than 20 billion by 2020 as the ‘internet of things’ and artificial intelligence becomes a reality. According to IBM 2.5 quintillion bytes of data generated every day, meaning that about 90 per cent of all data which has been created since 2014 raises challenges concerning digital education and info-communication knowledge. This paper examines the role of info-communication knowledge, digital education, digital technology, public interest and digital communication. It outlines the main difference between online and distant learning courses in digitized education ecosystem. It analyses digital communication, cultural policy and management master courses together with the role or artificial intelligence mechanisms to create info-communication knowledge by introducing the innovative model ‘Info-Communication Mechanism to Cultural Education’ (ICMCE).
