Abstract:
The purpose of the study is to carry out a comprehensive research on the features of the practical application of the analytical-imitative method in correcting the typical difficulties of mastering the Russian phonetic system of the Korean students of the middle age group. The experience of working with the Korean students has revealed the most effective types of exercises during Listening classes, for instance, working on fricatives and stop consonants. Classification of tables and types of exercises such as warming-ups, the exercises during the class and the corrective types of exercises are also represented on this paper. Taking into consideration the complexity and variety of the sound patterns of the speech communication, which consists of several stages, studied by the specialists in different branches of Phonetics (i.e. substantive phonetics, linguistic phonetics). The authors adhere to an integrated approach to constructing practical assignments in the target audience. The description of the phonological system of the Russian language is realized within the framework of the function of the Moscow Phonological School. To distinguish more effective organization of a set of study assignments the authors also used the scientific improvements in Modern psychology and Cognitive linguistics.

The study revealed the most influential indicators of the formation of auditory skills to consider bringing this ability to automated perception and reproduction: the accuracy of usage, the speed of usage, the stability of usage.

As a result, the authors focus on the formation and the correction of phonetic skills in Russian language among the foreign students, and offer the following steps to distinguish results: the logically planned explanatory materials, the usage of suitable methods in forming phonetic skills; the peculiarities of national phonetic system should be taken into account and the observation of the algorithm in the formation of phonetic skills language of the students.
