Abstract:
INTRODUCTION
Nowadays the majority of developed countries are incorporating Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in their care processes, opening a new perspective on managing information and enabling the use of data for health research to improve patient care. In this new care setting, nurses have a key role, raising the need for specific education and training to be able to respond to this new scenario. At the same time, the incorporation and implementation of ICT in the health sector, involves a process of adaptation for the professionals and for the users.

STUDY
In any process related to the incorporation of new tools, to develop professional duties and assess the implication as to the training of professionals who will use the device, analyze is needed. In this sense, ICT are expected to increase its presence in health systems.
Information exchange and interconnection can represent, for nurses, an opportunity to share knowledge in addition to the improved management of care. This fact underscores more than ever, the importance of using a common language to describe nursing care given to patients, incorporating international taxonomies by technology.
The main obstacle related to the implementation of ICT, is not tied to technology only, but observed barriers were related to the decrease of professional skills to manage it. Adequate specific training will enable the nurse for a better distribution of its day care while ensuring the registration of care procedures and enable the exchange of data between one school or otherwise.
The ICT and sharing of information and data on patient health, offer training opportunities and virtual, such as virtual platforms which allow healthcare professionals from different fields can have the experience and knowledge of consults other professionals or perform based on the total availability of information
Education and training should be carried out over entire career in order to respond to the constant advances of technology. However, it is also necessary to promote strategies for university training in the period to ensure that future professionals acquire the skills to use ICT.
