Abstract:
In this work we have undertaken a study about the technological subjects taught in Secondary education and the contents taught in the core subjects of the grades in Sound and Image Engineering, and Computer Engineering. In this context, we discuss the teaching and knowledge acquired in Secondary education which is the basis for the mentioned Engineering studies.

The work shows an important connection between the concepts studied in Secondary education, with the contents of the core subjects, which will form the basis of the academic curriculum in these grades.

In the case of the Sound and Image Engineering is important to note the subject of electrical engineering as the most important one that provides the basis for various subjects in the first and second university courses. In the case of the Computer Engineering degree we can emphasize the subject in Information technology and communication, which contents will be discussed in detail in subjects of the degree from first to third course.

From this investigation, we can conclude that the level of knowledge in Secondary education about subjetcs of engineering is elemental.
