Abstract:
Because nowadays, more and more, people and small businesses need help to better organize in distributing their financial resources or in the objectives of everyday life, such as organizing an investment plan or buying a home, we developed an application for the financial educational field, a good assistant to a financial consultant in the job he does. The average person's financial decisions are limited when his/her education in the financial field is poor. An educated decision requires good planning of resources, which is why financial advice has an important role to play in managing both long-term and short-term expenses and objectives. Here, we introduce a web application, scalable in terms of the number of users, type of users, venues and resources offered; an educational tool that offers financial consultants help in their interaction with customers. The main feature of the application is to provide educational resources on financial topics and trace the user's progress. The application can be extended to accept multiple fields of study, not only financial resources. Any person can acquire an administrator account and select one or more fields to manage, here we only focus on the financial education field. The administrator can create consultant/educator accounts and carry out CRUD operations for these users. The financial consultants/educators will be able to add customers/users and resources and carry out CRUD operations for these users and for the uploaded resources. An important feature is that the first-time customers will be assessed a questionnaire and then they will be assigned a financial educational profile. Based on their financial profile, the clients will be assigned adequate educational resources. Both customers and unauthenticated app visitors will have access to educational resources. Each resource will have a set of attributes so that they are allocated to customers according to their profile. An authenticated client will be able to access and study the resources assigned by his financial advisor, specific to his profile, along with other free resources available on the platform. A visitor will have access to a limited number of free generic resources. In order to facilitate the identification and visualization of resources, they can be filtered according to attributes such as: the resource topic, the resource profile, the time needed to study the resource, the difficulty of the content, the format (video, document). The app content can be set and filtered in different languages. The application is a web app, responsive (so it is accessible from mobile devices), scalable, with security elements, a modern design and easy to use.
