Abstract:
In Spain there are several technological platforms of generation and transfer of knowledge in the field of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food. In particular, in the region of Andalusia, the Andalusia Institute of Agricultural Research and Training (IFAPA) provided as a free public service the on-line agriculture and fisheries knowledge transfer and consulting platform (SERVIFAPA). This web platform is a tool that drives the spread of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) and access to the knowledge-based society so that the activity in rural areas can be improved through better qualification and training, within the current requirements of sustainability and quality.

In the present work, what it is, how it operates and what is the process of editing and publishing products in SERVIFAPA is exposed. For this purpose it has been used examples of case studies obtained from needs identified in the Agriculture, Fisheries and Food sector in Andalusia.

The first step consists of searching for technological demands, later to carry out proposals for the development of knowledge transfer tools that respond to that demand. Several case analyses from SERVIFAPA products are shown such as 'Document or report scientific-technical' and 'Interactive multimedia learning products' with different levels of complexity and extension.
From the starting point to the final outcome of products publication in SERVIFAPA Knowledge transfer and consulting platform, steps that define the workflow in the editing of the different types of materials are exposed as well as the tool that is used to manage the documental repository of SERVIFAPA platform.

Finally critical points are detected along the whole process that can be improved to optimize, streamline and provide more coverage in the operation of the transfer and management of knowledge.
