Abstract:
The growing use of video data to create interactive courses in e-Learning platforms represent a modern method of learning organizing. The large volume of educational video resources, involves the efficient management thereof. Creation of Interactive Flash e-Learning Courses, determines the need for use of video resources from various domains, created by a variety of organizations or institutions. Many of these resources are annotated based on metadata. This facility of video annotation is necessary but do not provide sufficient information. Therefore, it is necessary to enrich semantic content effectively using ontologies specific to e-Learning. The framework proposed in this paper describes two tools for this purpose. The first one to annotate semantic the video content based on ontology using MPEG-7 standard and generate an XML file, and the second, to create Interactive Flash e-Learning Courses by loading the external XML data, so it provides a method of structuring course content, for a easy way to understand and follow up.
