Abstract:
The adaptation of the study plans to the European Higher Education Area (EEES), implies a considerable shift in the teaching-learning process and also make TICs (Information and Communications Technologies) acquire a significant relevance.

In the last years, Polimedia -a multimedia platform- has been created by the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia as a tool for creating and sharing educational contents[1].

In the field of fine arts however, such an initiative poses concerns. The promotion and control of the implementation of Polimedia for the development of new methodologies in art education at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia is being carried out by the Consejo Técnico Asesor Docente (COTAD).

In such a particular context, Polimedia turns into a tool capable of producing a shift in the teaching practice enabling new strategies and teaching methodologies that will clearly lead to a significant learning process thanks to the direct observation of visual examples of "how we do".
