Abstract:

This paper presents a type of virtual wireless network (Virtual Network VN) for a digital library (DL) proposed for implementation in our university, and which will be able to supply information and provide services to a wide range of users in any corner of the world. This type of database application can be implemented in the headquarters of some institutions such as schools, faculties, railway stations and bus stations, airports, commercial centers, state institutions, and can be accessed by mobile phone or notebook. Information may be free of charge or may be consulted for a fee, under commercial regime or academic regime. For this type of networks an algorithm of data encoding with two types of keys is used: the public free type of key and the key private type, on charge. The algorithm used is the classical RSA one, improved as the authors have come with a proposal that makes the network more secure.
