Abstract:
In 2014-2015, the Faculty of Applied Economics (FAE) at the University of Antwerp developed a digital and blended learning strategy for its Bachelor and Master programmes. Partly funded by the university, CIKO, the centre for quality assurance and innovation of FAE, installed an approach aligned with the vision.

The approach focuses on skills and subjects, both course-specific and for the curriculum as a whole. It encompasses teaching as well as assessment methods. We introduced a blended learning toolkit and worked on an implementation plan which included among others a faculty training programme. To ensure the quality of the digital educational resources, we also developed a checklist for our academic staff. This checklist will be implemented in 2015-2016 and will assess content, style, language and usability.

In our poster presentation we will focus on the vision and approach of digital and blended learning.
