Abstract:
The field of social communication, aimed at a mass audience, is currently facing the new communication paradigm, in which mass communication has evolved considerably due to the action of the new technologies of communication. In this global and changing world, communication has emerged as a discipline that requires careful attention and a well-defined strategy in order to meet the communication objectives of a company, institution or project.

This is the context of the European project EURODDIP-E dissemination plan. EURODDIP-E is an European project in the field of education that aims to help develop technology for children with special needs in order to promote their inclusion in schools, reducing the limitations of their physical disabilities for their correct educational and personal progress. This study case presents the conclusions from the design of a social communication methodology for the dissemination of an European project in the current context of communication 3.0. The main objective of this study case is to obtain a communication strategy aimed at social communication, based on a previous dissemination plan developed by the EURODDIP-E working group. This strategy will be developed with an interdisciplinary approach, seeking to increase the dissemination impact of the messages emitted from the different communication channels of the project.

The communication strategy designed for EURODDIP-E will be based on a combined methodology: reviewing the state of the art of social communication nowadays and adapting corporate and institutional communication techniques to a social communication project. This methodology will explore the different stages of a communication strategy to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of each communication action: SWOT, message analysis, target audiences, media managing and communication channels. This communication strategy will be specially designed to achieve the communication objectives of the EURODDIP-E project, taking into account the guidelines of the SEPIE (Spanish Service for the internationalization of education) and the Erasmus + program, although it is expected that its conclusions will serve as a starting point for other social communication projects that seek to expand their dissemination results.
