Abstract:
Studying an issue as important as peace building (PC) from the perspective of sustainable development and corporate social responsibility (CSR) necessarily requires reviewing the relationships in the State-Private Sector-Civil Society triad, which involves a series of actors whose roles, functions and responsibilities can enhance or hinder this purpose and where the State is not the only actor in the materialization of Peace. It is there, then, where the private sector appears, which can contribute in a relevant way to the socioeconomic dynamics of the country and in the implementation of this commitment, since armed violence and insecurity have affected and continue to affect its productive activity, bringing as a consequence obstacles for the development of the country and persistent difficulties among the communities. Thus, in order to continue advancing in the construction of peace, educational training is important, developing hard and soft skills for entrepreneurs, to begin to find solutions that put people at the center and that, when implemented, are lasting, reduce violence rates, promote justice, inclusion, respect for human rights and the fight against corruption, among other aspects. In short, an educational strategy aimed at social responsibility and sustainable development based on the elements provided by the ISO 26000:2010 standard.

Taking into account the need to understand the problem, the descriptive type of research was carried out from a qualitative approach, applying information gathering instruments, such as in-depth interviews, discourse analysis derived from them, and focus group with guiding questions, which ensured the corresponding triangulation of the data obtained from a representative sample of businessmen in three territories affected by the armed conflict at national level.

Regarding the results, a condition of strength in terms of governance is shown, since businessmen express their willingness to contribute to the development of their environment from the mission that their operations allow them, however, there is an evident weakness related to both hard skills in terms of knowledge of the conceptual framework, purposes, impact and benefits of social responsibility, and soft skills related to leadership, ethics and values and proactivity, which are required for the definition of the strategy, develop action plans, commit and appropriate it in the workers linked to it.

Therefore, it is necessary to educate microentrepreneurs and professionals who lead the productive sector on issues such as promoting due diligence in human rights; contributing to a better society; becoming aware of the negative impact generated by corrupt practices; guide management in this regard towards achieving the goals set by the UN (2016) in SDG 16, which proposes, among others, to significantly reduce corruption and bribery, create effective and transparent institutions that are accountable, ensure inclusive, participatory and representative decision-making; create networks to leverage social investment in the territories; develop a real knowledge management to train and educate entrepreneurs in relevant aspects of sustainable development, CSR and CP.
