Abstract:
In the context of social transformation, higher education institutions experience the effects of changes that occur at increasing rates in increasingly shorter times, and must understand and face the challenges of globalization, advancements in science, technology, the social, economic, and political transformation of the world. Besides, they are summoned to participate in the solution of the great local, regional, national and world problems.

In response to this situation, the Universidad Veracruzana has been promoting social entrepreneurship, as a new way of doing business, which not only focuses on generating maximum profits, but also on meeting the needs and problems that we face daily, developing, profitable and replicable businesses through competitions such as the Social Business Creation organized by Lacorporation De L'école Des Hautes Etudes Commerciales from Montreal, with the support of the Yunus Center, founded by Nobel Prize winner Muhammad Yunus, in addition, it offers a pedagogical platform that provides knowledge and experiences in social entrepreneurship and a training program titled, Train The Trainers, where teachers and interested public from around the world can gain experience and certification to advise others on this important topic
.

The results are mainly based on the profile, experiences and knowledge of the participants acquired during and after their participation in the Social Business Creation.

Conclusion:
The results obtained by the applied instruments and the analysis of Social Business Creation show that this has been a competition that significantly and positively raises the level of social entrepreneurship of the participants, turning them into agents of change who have knowledge and skills in social entrepreneurship helping to build a better society today and for the future.
Another element to highlight in the results of this research is the importance of promoting social entrepreneurship in Higher Education Institutions because it becomes an opportunity for the promotion and accompaniment of social initiatives and projects that students initiate, therefore universities are recommended to not limit themselves to their function of training higher-level professionals and technicians, but to promote processes and actions so that students and academics take advantage of knowledge to develop high-impact social enterprises.
