Abstract:
Tutorial teaching has an important role in the teaching-learning process of university students. This is one teaching strategy relevant to the student's independent learning in the context of European convergence.

This is an observational cross sectional descriptive study. The population are university students in engineering and nursing. The chosen sample are third year students of both disciplines. The instrument used is a specifically designed questionnaire with closed and open questions with which we attempt to ascertain the type of mentoring they use most often, the weekly time devoted to them, specific periods of use and is intended to investigate the knowledge have the students in the mentoring relationship with the teaching-learning process. The response rate was 100%, emphasizing the use of tutorials (68.5%) versus virtual. 42.6% devotes weekly half-hour, using about the performance of the tests mainly. Would be important to support mentoring in other seasons and creating awareness for teachers working tools to help you develop your work with maximum efficiency and accountability.
