Abstract:
The paper illustrates the aims, methodologies and objectives of the INSO international cooperation project, who won on the Italian Ministry of the Interior call (UE program "Regional Development and Protection Program for North Africa RDPPNA) open by the IRISS-CNR of Naples (Research Institute on Innovation and Services for the Development of the National Research Council) in collaboration with the Center for Lifelong Learning (CAP) of the University of Bari Aldo Moro and the Comboni College of Khartoum.

The project, which is about to be finalized, has sought to promote the socio-economic development of Sudan by enhancing the acquisition of skills through training activities provided in blended mode, supporting the professional growth of the recipients and their integration into the labor market. The training course was addressed to about 150 participants among students from the Sudanese universities, university professors and officials from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Sudan.

Specific objectives of the project were:
i) to provide the recipients, young Sudanese and refugees, the know-how related to knowledge, skills and competences inherent in the areas of "Computer Science" and "Information Technology";
ii) to train some local university professors who work in the Professional and Vocational Guidance field and officials of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Republic of Sudan, in order to provide them with skills aimed at linking local universities with entrepreneurial areas and administrative.

The training courses were delivered in blended mode through seminars and lectures in presence in Sudan and through the support of a e-learning platform (moodle) and learning set up managed by the Center for Lifelong Learning (CAP) of the Aldo Moro University of Bari.
