Abstract:
The growing awareness of the environmental impact of the aeronautical industry has led to the need to integrate clean production and sustainability practices into the training of aeronautical engineers. This highlights the importance of environmental awareness through the "Clean Production" course. The study's methodology focused on reviewing literature, analyzing successful cases of clean production in the aeronautical industry, and engaging discussions during the master's degree classes in Aeronautical Engineering at ESIME Ticomán of Instituto Politécnico Nacional - México. These discussions allowed students to explore and reflect on the practical application of sustainability and clean production concepts in their professional future.

The results of this educational approach showed that aeronautical engineers, both those in training and those already working in the sector, are increasingly aware of the critical importance of adopting and developing new green technologies. These not only mitigate the negative impacts of the industry on the environment but also promote a "green thinking" mindset throughout the design and development process of new aeronautical solutions. The teaching of the "Clean Production" course has proven to be an effective strategy to foster a culture of innovation and environmental responsibility among future aeronautical engineers, ensuring they acquire not only advanced technical knowledge but also develop a strong professional ethic oriented towards sustainability.
