Abstract:
The term “digital” currently appears among those which are frequently mentioned together with the term “literacy”. Digital literacy contains varied activities on various devices. Creating and editing text on the computer using appropriate applications is one of them although it assumes developing skills according to the 1:1 education. Therefore, an e-course was included to the course called Introduction to Text Information Processing in the first semester of the university study. This course was taught through blended learning. Then the change in the students’ attitudes towards the digital technologies was examined by using a standardized Computer Attitude Scale questionnaire. Students from the study program Natural Science Studies were divided into two groups. In the first one, there were students with their field of study of Information in Education, and in the other one, there was the rest of students of the program Natural Science Studies (biology, physics, geography, chemistry, mathematics). Our study was aimed to analizy the personal barriers that students can build themselves when they learn that, at the beginning of their study, a part of it will be carried out in a controlled manner using the e-course. The changes between the two groups were compared by using chi-squared distribution method. Keywords:
