Abstract:
Digital technologies have become an integral part of education. At many universities we have observe integration of blended learning among the main ways of teaching. It is expected that graduates of secondary schools are digitally literate enough to adapt to this trend in the new environment. However, their previous experience with e-courses can be very different. In addition, students may have to use digital technologies (not only) for learning different relationship. Both of these factors are taken into consideration when examining the results of the course Introduction to Text Information Processing. Natural Science Studies Program students attend it at the beginning of their university studies. It develops their skills in digital text editing. It is therefore a development of one of the components of digital literacy through e-course. The success of the students we researched for the whole study program. Then we focused on individual fields of study (biology, physics, geography, chemistry, mathematics and informatics).
