Abstract:
With the emergence of the European Higher Education Area in 1999 as a result of the Bologna Declaration, begins a process with important changes in higher education systems. In the case of Spanish universities, work began on this reform in 2001 with the creation of the Organic Law of Universities (LOU, 2001).

The study we have done for this work focuses on the degree in Engineering in Industrial Technologies taught at the Higher Polytechnic School, belonging to the University of A Coruña. In this center, in the academic year 2003-2004 (beginning of the process of adaptation to the European Higher Education Area but still far from the implementation of the new study plans) a teaching innovation project has been carried out, in order to know which would be the most appropriate methodologies for achieving the objectives pursued with the European Higher Education Area. Throughout these years the teaching methodology has been modified in order to optimize the results. In this work, this evolution is shown.
