Abstract:
The article aims to present the teaching / learning methods - Problem Based Learning and Project Oriented Learning as bases that will contribute in an effective way to the formation of reflective, creative and collaborative professionals, and that will consequently bring better results for students, Architecture and Urbanism courses at the ENADE - National Examination of Student Performance, which is held in Brazil every three years. It is possible to affirm that investing in the formation of more reflective professionals in the courses of Architecture and Urbanism in Brazil can bring good qualitative results for students, teachers and Institutions of Higher Education. Exploratory bibliographic research aims to analyze studies that can help students acquire essential skills to reach competencies in interdisciplinary areas of their profession. It is concluded that the Brazilian Higher Education Institutions should restructure their way of teaching Architecture and Urbanism by exploring AOP / ABP as interdisciplinary drivers.
