Abstract:
An investigation process was developed about the Agricultural Engineer's formation in Cuba. During the investigation process, informations came from identified sources like students and professors of the career of Agronomy in the UCLV, rector center of the career at national level. Other informations came from Granma University, Las Tunas University and also from specialists of the productive sector. The main techniques used to obtain the information are related with the realization of workshops, surveys and interviews with a sample of professors, students and specialists of the productive sector. The surveys applied to the students, were analysed using tabulation of data and graphic representation of the same ones using the Microsof Office Excel. A non parametric test was also used (Spearman-rho correlation coefficient), on the base of the statistical package SPSS. In order to guarantee the validity and the reliability of the informations, in the case of the interviews, the results obtained were compared with other measures considered as valid and it was considered the agreement grade among the codifiers (triangulation) As a result of the investigation the proposal of an alternative model of curricular implementation was generated to develop the study plan, on the bases of improvement all of aspects detected as deficiencies during the diagnosis. This alternative model was validated positively during the application under the conditions of the Universidad Central "Marta Abreu" de Las Villas. Keywords:
