Abstract:
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has the potential to transform the global economy and society and can profoundly change how we work and interact. Recently, AI has been the subject of numerous debates, leaving its mark on technological development and significantly impacting various economic sectors.

In this paper we want to highlight the advantages and challenges generated by AI in the educational field. Some of its implications refer, for example, to personalized learning, improving operational efficiency, reduced costs, engaging learning experiences, increasing quality of education, but also concerns about data privacy and security. We also examine the impact of AI on education and training for professions that will affect economic growth.

We draw attention to the fact that the educational system will have to undergo certain transformations to adapt to new technological requirements. Then, there is the question of the proper regulation of AI and the correct management of ethical aspects related to AI. Therefore, we are talking about AI's complex impact on economy and also on education. Still, it is up to us as a society to correctly and effectively manage this impact and to create a fair and prosperous economic environment for all of us.

Our analysis underlines that the impact of artificial intelligence in education lies in the interaction between a series of benefits and challenges. The benefits arising from the implementation of AI can form the basis of educational reform, primarily requiring a change in teaching and learning methodologies. A major challenge for educational institutions is to prepare students for the changes that will occur on the labor market.

However, decision-makers should correctly manage the economic obstacles and ethical considerations that arise. Then they should pay increased attention to investing in innovation and evaluating training programs, ensuring that the implementation of AI leads to increased educational equity and higher student outcomes. Currently, the shift to AI-based education is crucial for immediate educational development, but it also has the potential to generate substantial fiscal benefits in the long term, even reducing public sector borrowing and debt.

Important transformations will occur in the future, and AI's impact will be extremely decisive for all of us. If we implement and manage AI properly, it will stimulate innovation, general prosperity, and economic growth. The implementation of AI in education has considerable economic potential, having the capacity to revolutionize the way educational institutions operate. As AI becomes more accessible, its users will enjoy cost savings, improved outcomes, and increased institutional sustainability.
