Abstract:
Teachers of singing were and possibly still are regarded as "charlatans". Maybe it's because they use the instructions from the field of imagination and metaphors, which help pupils at inducing various technical elements. These instructions mediate and accelerate obtaining the required skills and habits.

However, it is possible that the same instruction can help one student, but the other does not. Therefore, the teacher must invent, to seek, to explore new directions, new ideas, new simile, because to express a clear demand, for example: "Loosen the neck", teacher may only when the student reaches a certain technical level.

So educator works with images and bodily experiences, and other psychic impulses and long time, he often uses ideas, fiction and similes with theme music and non music. Teacher od singing creates a distinctive vocabulary through which he activates the auditory physical and emotional sensations representing experiential self-knowledge and form the "inner singing life ." Our article includes information about possible ideas and similes which authors of the article used for teaching singing. Some of them are generally known, some of them are very personal and the authors working with these expressions in their qwn educational practice.
