Abstract:
The concepts of global education are the pedagogical projection of one of the approaches to understanding of global studies as a scientific discipline. They refer to the disciplinary different samples of globalization, examined in the new valuable context of above-government orientation.

Methodologically, the Russian concepts of global education are based on the theories and ideas, borrowed from the heritage of Henvi and some other authors. They include:
- conceptual ideas about the place of a person in the globalizing world, about his world outlook orientations and the ways to know the surrounding reality;
- paradigmal bases of the conceptions, the concept of the purposes of global education, the system of principles regulating the educational process;
- approaches to the selection of the contents of education and elaboration of special training courses;
- conceptually-terminological line fixing the features of global thinking formation.

In the theory and practice of the Russian education, the concepts elaborated outside of the domestic pedagogical tradition, have received their further development. They include: the concept of the achievable global prospect, the concept of the humanistic planetary consciousness formation, the concept of education of a globally thinking and locally operating citizen of the world (associated schools of UNESCO).

They admit the validity of the global education principles, put forward by R.Henvi and his successors (awareness of the heterogeneous perception of the world, awareness of the condition of the planet, the principle of cross-cultural literacy, the principle of global dynamics knowledge, the principle of the realized choice), which are adapted according to the specific features of the Russian education. The idea of the integrative approach, by means of introduction of the vertical cross-disciplinary training courses at different levels of training and the original methodical support, is being realized.
The concept of the St. Petersburg scientific school realizes the idea of education of the complete person, the citizen of the world, the peacemaker with the maximum degree of responsibility not only for his own destiny, but also for the destiny of all people on the planet, for the universal peace. It is based on the theoretical grounds presented in the generalist concept of global education, and it suggests the idea of the formation of global thinking patterns where the interests of a mankind are above the interests of any nation or a group of people.
Russian Associated schools of UNESCO realize the concept of education of the person of the world, who is thinking globally and operating locally.
The educational programs of the majority associated schools are based on the holistic principle, and along with the introduction of meta-subjects they realize interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches.
The wide range of the new problems arising in the domestic education, since we have entered the global educational space, makes it necessary to study some of the pedagogical aspects of globalization more carefully.
