Abstract:
Final Year Project (FYP) course is a compulsory subject for Computer Science students. In order to sustain and improvise the existing supervision, a new strategy is required and the development of information and communication technologies (ICT) in education should be able to facilitate. The FYP system provides essential communication between students and supervisor not only through email but also through the FYP portal. The purpose of this study is as an initial approach to investigate students’ perceptions towards the usage of the portal. The findings then could be used to enhance the system for future development. A set of questionnaires was distributed to student. The study revealed that students have a moderate acceptance towards the FYP websites in assisting them in the whole process of completing their FYP. However, there are still rooms for improvement in order for the users to get benefit from the website. Keywords:
