Abstract:

In Malaysia, Science subject has been introduced for students as early in standard one to six for primary school. In reality, a lot of students feel that Science is one of the most difficult subjects to learn and understand. This paper introduces an Online Science Educational Games to provide Science games for primary students from Year 1 to Year 6, in their learning. The contents of games are based on Science syllabus provided by Ministry of Education in order to attract students in learning Science. Primary student can play this Science games for fun and learn Science at the same time. They can learn from the Science games, which is more interactive, since it was equipped and enhanced with some animations, sound or visual effects to make learning process more fun and memorable. Science educational games also provide an additional method of learning outside the classroom as revision aid. In this educational game, three simple Science games were designed in an entertaining way. There are some questions that related with Science subject are used to encourage students to use their intelligence and to help them to learn. The Word Game helps student to memorize the vocabulary of Science, Home Treasure Hunt helps student to explore and get the solution for Science and the Science Quiz helps them to practice more exercises.
