Abstract:
The paper describes the level graphomotor skills of primary school children, which are necessary for the successful acquisition of writing skills in elementary grade. In theory describes graphomotor skills, following the development of the personality of a primary school child and informs about the possibilities of graphomotor skills diagnostic in primary school. In the second part of the paper are presented results of research on the field, through the qualitative research strategy. The aim was to identify the level of development of fine motor skills, graphomotor skills, sensorimotor coordination and visual perception in primary school children after the start of compulsory school attendance. We used methods of observation, interview, case history questionnaire and analysis of activity results in standardized tests (Developmental test of visual perception and Tracing test). In the conclusion are proposed some measures that will allow teachers to eliminate children's graphomotor difficulties in primary school.
