Abstract:
The paper investigates the outcome of e-Learning strategies adopted by a university through evolutionary process with three pivotal and intended standpoints (objectives); widespread access to information age; enhancement in teaching learning environment; minimum cost of education. The discussion springs forth from the result of different case studies of undergraduate students in developing countries. It has been accomplished that in developing countries the foremost challenge to a university transforming into information technology environment is its diversity, its disregard towards the traditional education infrastructure, adaptability in use and its flexibility in application. The embedded congruity of e-Learning with institutional aims suggests that the e-Learning strategies adopted by the universities reflect instead of influencing the institutional ethos and that by virtue of the capacity to adapt to different contexts e-Learning may be more adaptable to academic mores rather than to be threatened of as feared by some researchers. Keywords:
