Abstract:
The Masaryk Institute of Advanced Studies at the Czech Technical University in Prague, has prepared and tested an intensive course focused on Design Thinking. The course has been conducted as an intensive four- day workshop. So far, there have been 3 rounds of the course, conducted in different forms. This paper reports on the experiences of both teachers and student participants with the different forms of teaching tested. The participants’ feedback has been surveyed using an online questionnaire.

The individual forms described in this paper include full online teaching for the international group of students (the Euro TeQ project); a fully online course for a group of Czech students; and a hybrid form of teaching, also for a group of Czech students.

In all of the above-mentioned forms of teaching, the course was conducted in cooperation with a real company and the students were working on a real task. In all cases, the participants used online collaborative tools: Miro, MS Teams and Figma. Online tools were chosen due to the fact that some of the students and representatives of the client company participated remotely.

Experience gathered from the above-mentioned forms of teaching, is shared in this paper, including recommendations, which are summarized at the end of the paper.
