Abstract:
This study investigates the effect of institutional digital initiatives on Faculty engagement in selected private universities in Nigeria. Five hundred and seventy (570) respondents were selected from various colleges and departments with the aid of stratified sampling method. Four hundred and eleven (411) copies of questionnaire representing (72.1%) response rate were used. Structural Equation Model (AMOS 23) was used as statistical tool for the analysis. Results show institutional digital initiatives in universities have significant influence on teaching engagement, research engagement and community development engagement. The study recommends that digital initiatives that could enhance faculty engagement should be given more priority. The study contributes to the exiting knowledge in digital HRM practices.
