Abstract:
The proposal intends to show an experience of an innovative pedagogical proposal by building a joint approach of the curricular units of the 1st year of the Degree Course in Education Sciences / Social Education, Writing Techniques and Methodologies of Scientific Work. In this approach, the contents of the two UCs are interrelated, with full respect for the respective issues, and the work will be based on cases, problems and projects. In this sense, the work to be developed is fundamentally student-centered, favoring cooperative work in order to improve the skills of the two UCs and to promote social competencies aimed at the development of critical thinking and creativity. The teaching processes are transversal and use digital technologies, both in classroom and in remote education, covering platforms for communication, research and storage / management of information and creation and production of knowledge. The evaluation of the two UCs will be integrated and carried out by the three teachers using instruments from both UCs individually, as well as common instruments.

The authors analyse how an integrated curriculum allow the development of relevant competencies for the XXI century along with the work on specialised knowledge, at the same time they reflect on the curricular knowledge itself.

The work will generate guidelines for innovative pedagogical approaches in higher education as well as indicators for research.
