Abstract:
In recent years, the percentage of Chinese international students in European universities has increased considerably. This has created situations that can be optimized by a specific Tutorial Action Plan for Chinese international students. At present, many European universities have a generic Tutorial Action Plan that has been analysed by the SIAS China-EU team, reaching the conclusion that it was pertinent to incorporate specificities for Chinese students. A guide with principles of action and specific guidelines for this community of students. This Tutorial Action Plan is accompanied by resources for training to raise awareness and improve intercultural communication. The publication of the experience is carried out with the aim of sharing and making proposals for transfer to other European situations and universities, types of students, educational levels, etc. To this end, the debate that can be generated among the participants is of utmost importance. For this reason, it is proposed to include this communication in the seminar "Social inclusion and academic success of Chinese students in EU higher education".
