About this paper:
Conference name: 17th annual International Conference of Education, Research and Innovation
Dates: 11-13 November, 2024

Abstract:
Inteligencia Quisqueya (IQ) is an online proposal that has been in service for 10 years, offering free access to the entire student population of the Dominican Republic. Funded by the INICIA Education Foundation and managed by Instituto 512 in partnership with the Dominican Republic's Ministry of Education, this platform has registered approximately 800,000 secondary education students preparing for standardized tests required for formal education completion and graduation.
Over its 10 years of service, IQ has organized and documented the platform's evolution and progress from its inception to the present, considering:
1. Annual registration achievements
2. Content usage from registration
3. Standardized test scores of users versus non-users
These data have enabled continuous evaluation and improvement of the proposal.
The initiative includes relevant and distinctive elements that allow the educational community to explore alternatives for offering increasingly better services to students through an algorithm that creates individualized and personalized learning paths.
Continuous learning and improvement during implementation include:
1. Innovative proposals for promoting personalized learning and standardized test preparation
2. Community engagement and loyalty strategies
3. Curriculum review and curation
4. Creation and management of a student community
5. Gamification as an academic preparation tool
6. Training and engagement of teachers as the main advocates and prescribers of the tool
Post-COVID-19 Pandemic Evolution:
- The platform evolved to offer multiple services to the student community from primary to secondary education.
- Expanded curriculum offerings from primary to secondary education
- Platform available beyond test preparation, positioned as a free tool to reinforce learning
- Interactive play and interaction spaces for students promoting interactive learning
During the pandemic, IQ.EDU.DO also served as a teaching space for planning and enriching classes using modules that complement the national curriculum. It represented one of the main support alternatives for continuing education during the nationwide closure, providing valuable content that allowed thousands of students not to lose that school year.
Due to the robust algorithm behind the platform, it has also been used to load national diagnostic evaluations and assessment during pandemic times.
Conclusion:
IQ.EDU.DO is an ally for students, supporting their preparation, guaranteeing their learning, and assisting teachers in planning. Over the implementation, there is evidence and proof that this is a quality proposal with excellent results, improved standardized test scores, and continuous improvement in its use beyond tests.
IQ.EDU.DO is a local proposal with the capacity to scale regionally and expand services for students and their learning. Keywords:
