Abstract:
The Circular Economy and Sustainable Development constitute two strategic axes of business, social and environmental change. In this sense, management based on the Circular Economy is an essential instrument for companies that seek to be efficient in a sustainable way. In fact, companies are increasingly aware of the benefits of closing loops and improving the efficiency of resources, such as savings in material costs, the creation of competitive advantages and access to new markets (Rizos et al., 2016).

In this context, the university must train professionals in the field of business management and finance who lead the transition of the productive model, generating innovative solutions and new business ideas. For this reason, it is necessary to provide the students of these degrees with theoretical and practical knowledge so that they obtain a global and transversal vision of the most important sectors of application of the Circular Economy and Sustainable Development.
For that end, we will use the business methodology of the 'Elevator Pitch' in university teaching. This tool is based on the preparation of a brief presentation of a project, business or innovative idea proposal, which should last less than 2 minutes. This methodology will wait to achieve collaborative, participatory and motivating learning (Romero, Artal, Artacho, & Aranda, 2017).

Therefore, the implementation of this business methodology in the university environment will allow the improvement of specific skills and competences of professionals trained in the field of business management and finance. Moreover, this business methodology will enable to seek innovative solutions based on the new economic model proposed by the Circular Economy that allow reducing the impacts of three strategic sectors such as the agri-food, technological and tourist sectors.
