Abstract:
The decline of industrial activity caused by the economic crisis has led to a significant increase in the number of unemployed. This same phenomenon has soared youth unemployment to record levels across the European Union. Thus, according to the European Commission, the youth unemployment between fifteen and twenty years of age in the EU has increased 50% since the beginning of the crisis, from an average of 15% in February 2008 to 22.5 % in July of this year.

In order to improve this scenario, Mondragon University has developed a specific project called TEKinLAB which contributes to the development of the entrepreneurial culture within its students.

For achieving this main goal, there have been developed three sub-objectives:
(i) to identify the values which belong to an entrepreneur (based on the literature review)
(ii) to develop specific material (pills, documents, games, activities, videos, etc.) to work on the previously identified values
(iii) to implement the material developed through different working sessions.

As it has been a pilot project, these preliminary interventions has been focused on 3rd course engineering students and it has been implemented a total of three sessions; each one dealing with a specific entrepreneurial value.

For measuring the impact of the working sessions, students have been surveyed before and after the interventions; using a previously contrasted questionnaire (Zubizarreta et al., 2012). After analysing the results obtained, it has seen that students who have participated in the working sessions have had an increase on their entrepreneurial values level; validating the effectiveness of the material developed.
