Abstract:
Educational innovation represents the attitude and process of generating new contributions, which can be carried out individually or collectively, for the solution of problematic situations that allow a transformation in environments where they are applied. Today there is much talk about the Flipped Classroom methodology in different educational contexts, especially how this methodology has been adapted very easily in virtual educational environments in times of pandemic. In this methodology the presence of the key element is the teacher, who is located in the most complex learning levels, where his role is really important for the development of the student's cognitive skills.

Nowadays large databases publish research of various kinds, the number of these investigations is growing every day. However, it is very difficult for people to extract useful information from a data repository with large volumes of information. This research aims to show the model and an analysis on the topic raised, by applying the methodology of Systematic Mapping Studies (SMS), which will be used to map in at least 3 scientific databases, articles on the use of Flipped Classroom. The extraction of information from the different sources is done based on research questions that are posed, then the information obtained on the topic of study is sorted and classified in order to answer the questions posed. Finally, the results obtained are displayed and discussed graphically and tabularly with the help of various tools.
