Abstract:
This work aims to develop the entrepreneurial skills of the students as well as the management of the financial resources, which they would have at a given moment, regarding the development of their own business. The initial training of future entrepreneurs, possibly financiers, begins in school, when secondary school students receive the first information about the family budget and its management, then completed in high schools, with the help of entrepreneurial education and specialized modules. The study that I carried out in this work aimed to identify the skills that a future entrepreneur must possess, as well as the managerial skills regarding the optimal and efficient management of the company's monetary resources, correlated with the skills that the students from the specialization " Economic" they acquire in high school. Professional competences along with skills, attitudes, aptitudes and behavior are imperative to be developed in students, because they make the difference between being the best economist, financier, entrepreneur, manager, etc. or not. The current work is based on an extensive and rigorous research that comes with a series of practical recommendations to reduce the gap between the academic and the entrepreneurial environment. Any sustainable development is based on a strong educational foundation. But the education of future entrepreneurs, in the context of a world in permanent development and with an impact of post-pandemic changes, brings new challenges and an increasing pressure on the educational system. The main hypothesis of this research tries to show the existence of the correlation between the professional skills that students acquire in school and those in real life that business people possess. Thus, the present paper is, on the one hand, an extremely rigorous methodologically justified system analysis, but also a proposal to improve the efficiency of the direct activity with high school students. This research has identified a series of elements such as: Establishing the skills related to the correct preparation of a business plan; The correlation of the professional skills that the students acquire in the specialized subjects within the profile but also in the optional subjects taught in the XIth and XIIth grades, which bring additional information regarding the business spirit, with the requirements of a market economy; The existence of a concordance between the learning outcomes that students from the "Economics" specialization acquire with the help of the "Technician in economic activities" qualification and the skills they must possess in any life situation, but especially in the economic-financial and business. Keywords:
