Abstract:

In the realm of education, the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) presents a promising avenue for innovation and improvement. But not all AIs are created equally, thus the question is which AI to use?

This paper investigates the application of the Artificial Intelligence Value Protocol (AIVP) within educational environments. AIVP, a structured framework designed to assess the efficacy of AI systems, offers a methodical approach to evaluating the value generated by AI interventions in general and in education particularly. Through a comprehensive review of the literature and case studies, this study explores the implementation of AIVP in educational contexts, highlighting its potential to foster personalized learning experiences, facilitate adaptive assessment methodologies, and streamline administrative functions. Additionally, this research addresses pertinent ethical considerations and privacy implications associated with the utilization of AI technologies in educational settings. By elucidating the manifold benefits and challenges inherent in leveraging AIVP for educational enhancement, this paper aims to provide valuable insights into the strategic integration of AI in education while ensuring ethical and responsible practice.
