Abstract:

Eduction planning has been the topic of research across the centuries. Understanding each individual’s capabilities requires an understanding of not only the educational scores but also the individual's preferences and social. On the other hand, creating the correct incentives for the individual to perceive one pather versus the other is harder to establish. Governments and institutions' investment in the individual’s educational path is not tightly coupled with the results. Grants and financial support given to individuals with a lower probability of success will most likely not result in the desired outcome. Finally, how do we make the decision when selecting between different candidates to invest in?

In this paper, we propose a novel approach that marries several disciplines. We utilize artificial intelligence to create a model, not only of the individual’s academic history but also of the individual’s social interactions. This model paints a much clearer vision of individual aptitude not only the scores. The second part of our approach is to utilize the power of the Blockchain as a means of incentive for the individual to choose the most probable success path.
