Abstract:
In an educational context marked by diversity and interconnectivity, socio-pedagogical communication has become increasingly important, especially for the collaboration skills essential in the 21st century. Socio-pedagogical communication refers to the methods and strategies used to foster effective and respectful interaction among students from diverse backgrounds, emphasizing the importance of social context in learning processes. This concept is integral to developing 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and digital literacy, all of which are crucial for successful communication in a globalized world. This study focuses on an experiment conducted with first-year educational license students at Ecole Normale Supérieure at Abdelmalek Essaadi University (Morocco) to explore the integration of socio-pedagogical communication in teaching these skills. The experiment involved implementing pedagogical strategies that promote effective and respectful communication within diverse student groups. Collaborative activities were designed to encourage interaction and idea sharing, using technological tools suitable for hybrid learning modes. Preliminary results indicate a notable improvement in students' communication and collaboration skills, highlighting the effectiveness of an integrated approach that combines innovative teaching methods and judicious use of technology. These findings reinforce the idea that socio-pedagogical communication is a key element in preparing students to succeed in a constantly evolving world. This experiment offers promising avenues for educators and educational program designers looking to integrate socio-pedagogical communication in teaching 21st-century skills. It is essential that educational institutions adopt these strategies to equip students with the necessary skills to meet the challenges and seize the opportunities of our time.
