Abstract:
Training and or internship is one of the most important and popular tools of human resources which aims at furnishing students with the necessary needed practical skills and knowledge.

The world is simply getting more complex, and this has had an impact on how an organization operates.

Accreditation organizations are continuously taking vocational training into consideration when auditing educational enterprises.

Major HRM function consisting not only of training and development but also of career planning and development activities, organization development, and performance management and appraisal.

Although much remains unknown about the learning process, some generalizations stemming from the behavioral sciences have affected the way firms conduct training. For example, learners progress in an area of learning only as far as they need to in order to achieve their purposes.

The purpose of this research is to examine the importance of training at the university level, taking into consideration the scope of all stakeholders.

The research will identify the training concept, training programmes, types and methods of training. It will further discuss advantages of training and suggest procedures to achieve the mutual benefits of training. A descriptive analytical study will be conducted to reach results and recommendations which can help in achieving the desired benefits from vocational training for trainees, trainers and for educational institutions.
