Abstract:
Terrorism and Vandalism has been practiced by political organizations, nationalistic groups, religious groups, revolutionaries, and ruling governments for the purpose of gaining publicity.

The act of terrorism is a performance devised to have an impact on many large audiences. Terrorists also attack national symbols to show power and to attempt to shake the foundation of the country or society increasing the prestige of the given terrorist organization.

In Egypt there have been a number of terrorist attacks targeting civilians, tourists, and governmental Egyptian targets. Due to ignorance and economic levels, there is a high probability of deceiving more number to form terrorist groups in Egypt using ideological or religious believes. So the threat is increasing, which in turn need more attention and precautions to prevent national disasters.

This research aims to set a protective design procedure for conventional structures in which the analytical comparative course and the documentation course integrate with each others to verify finally some indicators that assist the architectural design process of military and strategic installations by studying: Military installation, architectural criteria and threats against it, camouflage as part of modern military tactics, architectural solution for protecting military installations and finally deconstruction as an architectural solution for protecting military installations
