Abstract:
The situation in higher education caused by the coronavirus pandemicis characterized by an increased interest in distance learning. Universities offer to use their own LMS (Learning Management System) for distance learning. However, for the effective organization of the educational process and the rapid exchange of educational documents, teachers often use other information and communication products. At the present stage of development of information technologies, one of the most effective ways to preserve and exchange information resources is the use of cloud technologies. The study describes the experience of using cloud technologies for distance learning of students at a technical university. The directions of using cloud technologies in the study of exact disciplines (mathematics and physics) are listed. These are: the use of cloud servers for storing, sharing and providing access to educational content, as well as the use of free services for computing, charting and creating infographics. The article analyzes the possibilities of using cloud storage by both teachers and students. The effectiveness of these technologies is noted both in the delivery of educational content to students, in conducting tests, and joint work on projects. The study describes the use of free cloud services for plotting functions on a plane and in three-dimensional space. The experience of using services to create infographics for educational purposes is also interesting. The use of cloud technologies in teaching makes it possible to improve students' information skills and makes it easier for the teacher to control the educational process.
